so many things that i want to write about

i am always intrigued to write so many different things. some of them just came out of my life experience and some were provoked by discussions that i overheard (cuz i m nosy), read and listened to my radio. however, i never have the will and patience to write it down. below would be just some of them.

* why are people so conditioned to think that private institutes are always more efficient than their public siblings? is it just a nature of their beings? is it how we are conditions by political/business forces?

* how true is the efficient market theory? could independent/critical thinking help us anyway to beat the market? it seems intuitive to think so but hard to do.

* who is jesus? why do people needs religion? do people need it because they realize how vulnerable they are? do religious establishment need us to need them because of their survival?

* market driven economy is so far a better model than a planned economy. but the moment that we start introducing regulations, ain't we approaching the "evil" planned economy? society couldn't be run with rules set by "super human beings". ain't they the planners for our market based economy? if they exist, isn't our do-no-wrong market driven economy just another version of the evil brother?

* MBS. when the world is trashing MBS today, isn't it the frontier or innovative financing art that people would be proud of last year? how wrong are the rating agencies? in other words, how wrong are their rating methodologies? if they deemed wrong (not that that they were wrong or right), they should be wrong all along. why nobody complained previously? if they deemed wrong because they couldn't foresee the irrational market, how true is fundamental the efficient market theory?
